The Gaming Sense™ – quantitative research

We conduct large surveys on the world's largest gaming markets (e.g., in the USA, EU, South Korea, and, until recently, also in Russia). We provide you with hard, accurate data and actionable insights on the areas that really matter to you. Our research is broad in scope and very detailed. We ask players both about general and more specific/in-depth issues.

For example - would you like to know which video game settings are most preferred by Koreans who like RTS? Or maybe what RPG features are the most important for American action game fans? To answer these questions, we use quantitative research.

Gamer Experience Tracking™

We carefully assess the quality of the game through playtests / focus laboratory tests on real, carefully selected players, and under the supervision of psychologists. We use the data to analyze their experiences and impressions about the game, and provide our clients with a list of recommended changes and improvements.

We are constantly updating our database of several hundred meticulously segmented players - from casual to hardcore, from simulator fans to slasher lovers. All this to meet your expectations.

Optionally, the research is also enriched with neuromarketing methods. For example, we use biofeedback based on eye-tracking and GSR date (psychogalvanic reaction, emotional stimulation of the player).

Silent reviews​

We gather confidential reviews from gaming media experts prior to your game's release, at any stage of production. We compile them into an analytical report containing key insights and recommended changes. We collaborate only with top industry veterans representing the leading gaming media in Poland, UK and the USA: Kotaku, Eurogamer or IGN.

Due dilligence - a fundamental analysis of the game's potential

We analyze the market situation and the potential of the game, from the concept to early prototypes. We estimate the potential profitability of the game with regard to other game launches and current trends. Additionally, we provide suggestions on reducing the risk of investments.

Michał Dębek

CEO + Head of Research

PhD in psychology, and gaming expert with a diploma in marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He has extensive experience in research and analysis, both in academia and the gaming industry. He was an assistant professor at the Institute of Psychology at the University of Wrocław, where he founded and led the Consumer Psychology specialization for many years. He also served as the head of marketing at Techland. At Try Evidence, Michal focuses on understanding player preferences, gaming culture trends, and strategic analyses of the gaming market. He enjoys playing action games and classic strategies and practices Shotokan Karate in his spare time.

Maciej Żmuda-Adamski

Head of Media Analysis

A gaming enthusiast and professional with a degree from Wrocław University of Science and Technology. He has been involved in the gaming industry since 1997, first as a journalist and media analyst, then as a PR Manager and Brand Manager at Techland, a leading Polish video game developer. He was responsible for the PR activities of Dying Light, a critically acclaimed zombie survival game. He also worked as a CMO at Nomtek, a mobile application design and development agency. He was the producer of B-all One, the first mixed reality game developed in Europe for the MagicLeap device, a cutting-edge wearable technology that blends the physical and digital worlds.
